Refund policy

We want you to be confident when you subscribe. This policy explains when and how we issue refunds.

When you qualify for a full refund

You get a full refund, no questions asked, when all of these are true:

  1. It is your first paid period on the plan you're refunding.
  2. The refund request reaches us within 7 days of the original payment.
  3. You have completed less than 25% of any course in your subscription tier (we measure completion via the progress_summary table — finished lessons divided by total lessons in any single course you've started).

When refunds are at our discretion

If any of the above conditions isn't met, we still review refund requests case-by-case. Reasons we typically refund include: technical failure on our side that prevented access; duplicate charges; sudden inability to access content for reasons attributable to us.

Reasons we typically don't refund: changing your mind after consuming most of a course; refund requested months after the charge with no contact in between; chargebacks filed without first contacting us.

How to request a refund

Email refunds@programmationtn.education with:

  • Your account email
  • Your order ID (visible at /account/billing)
  • A short reason

We acknowledge within 1 working day and process accepted refunds within 3 working days. Funds typically appear back on your card within 5–10 working days depending on your bank — that part is on the bank, not us.

Add-ons (family profiles)

The profile add-on follows the same rule: full refund inside 7 days if you haven't created any extra profiles yet. Discretionary thereafter.

Lifetime plans

We currently do not offer Lifetime plans. If we add one, the same 7-day / under-25% rule applies, with completion measured across all courses in the catalogue at purchase time.

What we don't refund

  • Chargebacks initiated without first contacting us — we will dispute these.
  • Periods consumed before cancellation. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until period end with no further charge, but no pro-rata refund for the active period.
